WAVE News wins first place for Best Daytime Newscast by the Kentucky Broadcasters Association

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Our WAVE News sunrise producers took first place in the Outstanding Daytime News Program category in the Kentucky Broadcasters Association competition.

This is the second year in a row that WAVE has been selected for this award.

Congratulations to WAVE News executive producer Makayla Ballman and producers Harrison Valek and Katelyn Hempel, whose work on our Sunrise team led to this achievement.
