Memphis Grizzlies reveal disappointing news regarding Star Player injury

Last year, the Memphis Grizzlies had a lot of injury problems. Ja Morant’s shoulder injury, which cost him all but nine games after returning from a 25-game suspension last season, left the Grizzlies using a record number of players due to all injuries.

This injury woe didn’t end this summer, as the Grizzlies had already announced that both GG Jackson and Vince Williams Jr. they won’t have time for injuries.

Jackson will be reevaluated in about three months and Williams in about four weeks. Both young wingers expect to be in the Grizzlies’ rotation when healthy, which makes their absence even more frustrating.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins revealed that star guard Jaren Jackson Jr. He is struggling with hamstring tightness, which the team believes may be a strain.

Via Damichael Cole of the Memphis Trade Appeal: “Jaren Jackson Jr. He had a tight hamstring today. The Grizzlies will get more updates later, but Taylor Jenkins thinks it’s a liability. I might miss some time.”

Memphis can’t rest amid injuries. Let’s hope that with less than a month before the start of the season, the Grizzlies will avoid additional injuries that they have already dealt with this summer.

Jackson is a huge contributor to what the Grizzlies do on both ends of the court. Jackson, selected as the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year, is one of the NBA’s best defenders.
