Bill Belichick discusses the struggles of the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are 0-4 and things are tense in Duval. Maybe they’ll even come to their heads.

According to owner Shad Khan, this was supposed to be the best team in franchise history. Instead, the Jaguars are on a four-game break and enter week five without a win. It is the only winless team remaining in the league.

Super Bowl-winning head coach Bill Belichick, considered by some to be the most viable candidate to take over if the Jaguars part ways with Doug Pederson, shared his thoughts on Let’s Go! podcast with Jim Gray.

“You know, Jacksonville just didn’t do well enough to deserve the win,” Belichick said. “And they will have to be better in every element. Not just quarterback, but also running, defense and situational football. I think the most important thing for them is not to lose confidence and not feel that everything is over. because we still have a long way to go Four losses won’t eliminate anyone from the playoffs, but they need to start winning soon.

The iconic head coach confirmed a fact that the Jaguars have been reporting on SI since the problems began – quarterback Trevor Lawrence is NO problem. It’s a team fight. In the second defense, the defense was injury-riddled and weak, and play calling and communication on offense were poor.

Even Pederson criticized the team’s inability to finish games during his Monday media appearance.

“You’ve got to finish, you’ve got to finish the game, you’ve got to ultimately finish the series, the quarter, the half and the game,” Pederson said. “Actually yesterday, it was our failure, it was the end of the match. We didn’t stay on the pitch in attack, we rolled over to the third goal to stay on the pitch. Then defensively we couldn’t get off the pitch. the defense played great in the second half – I think it was five passes, five punts – it was that one drive where we couldn’t get off the field and make enough plays. Again, these are the things that helped us win these matches.”

There have been reports that Pederson and CEO Trent Baalke’s relationship is strained. Given the current situation, Pederson and Baalke may be on loan at Duval.

Our SI Jaguars writer John Shipley requested 15 minutes to meet and discuss the future of the franchise with general manager Trent Baalke. Belichick could be the answer for the Jaguars.
