The Seahawks’ Kenneth Walker III flipped to first place in an incredible display of athleticism against the Lions

Seattle Seahawks guard Kenneth Walker III may have made his most acrobatic move of the season on Monday night against the Detroit Lions.

Walker received a pass near the first-down marker from quarterback Geno Smith early in the second quarter. Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone shut down Walker and tried to tackle the big running back.

Anzalone appeared to pull Walker down, but he landed on the defender’s legs. Walker jumped back up and continued to fly towards the first down marker. Just when it seemed like Anzalone had finally knocked him down, Walker put his head down, flipped and took the first guy down.

“I’ve never seen a play like that in my life,” Seahawks linebacker Rayshawn Jenkins said after the game, via the team’s website. “So hats off to Kenneth. He still fights when he takes the field. He doesn’t give up easily. I thought the offense did great today.”

Seahawks head coach Michael Macdonald also cheered on Walker.

“I have one guy in mind that will fight until the end,” Macdonald said. “This guy is tough as nails. This means the game is not over. I mean, it’s like he can do it, plays are designed to hit certain gaps, and with him it can go anywhere.

“And he runs extremely hard, he plays hard, he cares. We will rely on him in the future. So it’s good to have him back.”

It was one of the most acrobatic moves of the season. Unfortunately, the Seahawks failed to beat the Lions 42:29.
