Johnny Gaudreau’s NHL teammates celebrate his daughter’s birthday

Johnny Gaudreauteammates continue to show up for his family weeks after his tragic death.

Columbus Blue Jackets players turned out in droves on September 30 to celebrate Johnny’s daughter’s second birthday NO, posed next to her and a large poster on the lawn reading “Happy 2nd Birthday Noa!”

Blue Jackets player Erik Gudbransonwife Sarah Gudbranson she shared the photo on her Instagram stories and tagged Johnny’s wife Meredith Gaudreau. Sarah added: “Sending lots of love from the Jackets family!”

Meredith reposted the moving image, writing, “I love you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. A truly special group that will forever be family to me and our children.”

Johnny and his brother Matthew died in August after being hit by a car while riding their bikes in New Jersey. Just a few weeks later at his memorial service, Meredith – who is also mom to her and her late husband’s 7-month-old son Johnny Edward—announced that she is currently pregnant with the couple’s third child.
