First Alert Forecast: Warmer weather returns

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Dense Fog Warning is in effect until 9 a.m. for much of the central part of the state, so be aware of low visibility during your morning commute.

Today, clouds will alternate with sunshine for most of the day and I cannot rule out a few showers or drizzle, just like yesterday. Highs this afternoon will mostly remain in the 70s, although one or two spots may rise to the low 80s.

More sunshine is expected Wednesday, with highs again expected to be around 80 degrees in the afternoon.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and slightly warmer, with a high near 80 degrees. Temperatures will return to the mid-80s on Friday with plenty of afternoon sunshine.

Saturday and Sunday are looking nice and mild so far, with temperatures near 80 degrees and a few clouds each day.

Monday will be cooler, with highs in the mid-70s and mostly sunny skies.
