Fatal crash involving pedestrian closes I-65

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – All southbound lanes of Interstate 65 near Rosa Parks Boulevard are closed because of a crash involving a pedestrian, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) in a post on X Sunday night.

The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is investigating the crash near Exit 84. An MNPD spokesperson said the crash was fatal.

TDOT announced the closure in the post at 8:50 pm Sunday.
