NFL Week 1 TV Coverage Map

NFL Week 1 TV Coverage Map

Welcome to the regular season, NFL fans.

We’ve already had a couple of really great games to start the season, with the Kansas City Chiefs avoiding a late surge from the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles surviving a showdown with the Green Bay Packers in Brazil.

Now we’re full steam ahead into Sunday with a rich (and tasty) menu.

Welcome back to NFL TV broadcast maps – visualizations brought to you by the great folks at 506 Sports.

BLUE – NE vs CIN
GREEN – JAX vs MIA
YELLOW – HOU vs IND
LIGHT BLUE – AZ vs. BUF
RED – LV vs LAC
ORANGE – DEN vs SEA

CBS will show four early games and two late afternoon games.

Most early adopters will see the New England Patriots vs. the Cincinnati Bengals. Most other games are limited to local markets in the early window.

The entire state of California and most of Nevada will witness the Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers matchup (starring Jim Nantz and Tony Romo), although the event will also be available in select other areas (New Orleans, Minnesota, Nashville, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, New York).

Much of the PNW and western/central parts of the country will host a game between the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks.

FOX is the station that will offer both early and late broadcasts to all residents of the country this week.

RED – PIT vs. ATL
BLUE – MIN vs NYG
GREEN – TEN vs CHI
YELLOW – CAR vs NO

Most Americans, including the entire West Coast and the central part of the country, will be watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons match.

The New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings game will be available across most of the upper United States, the New York City area, and markets such as El Paso, Texas and Miami/West Palm Beach, Florida.

When the Chicago Bears take on the Tennessee Titans, much of the Midwest will be able to enjoy the matchup, while the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints matchup will (unsurprisingly) be watched mostly in local markets.

The later two games were featured on Fox.

RED – DAL vs CLE
BLUE – YOU vs TB

This map is pretty straightforward: if you’re not in Washington State or Tampa Bay, you’ll be able to watch Tom Brady make his commentary debut as the Dallas Cowboys take on the Cleveland Browns.

The Sunday Night Football game between the Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions will air on NBC, while Monday Night Football will wrap up the first week on ESPN with the New York Jets taking on the San Francisco 49ers.

Welcome back, ball.
