Man shot multiple times as he sat on Napier porch

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was shot multiple times while sitting on the porch of his home in the Napier neighborhood Thursday afternoon, the Metro Nashville Police Department said.

Police said the victim, a 60-year-old man, was shot multiple times below the waist as he sat on his porch.

The shooting was reported around 1:15 p.m. on Fain Street.

He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Police said no arrests have been made.
