‘I’m KY ’til I die’ UK Basketball adds second in-state recruit to 2025 recruiting class

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) – Five-star quarterback and Versailles native Jasper Johnson committed to the Kentucky Wildcats, and it aired live on CBS Sports Network on Thursday, September 5th.

Johnson is a 6-foot-4, 193-pound point guard who is ranked the No. 12 prospect in the country by 247Sports.

He chose Kentucky over North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas and Louisville.

Johnson will now team up with another UK state representative, Great Crossing High School center Malachi Moreno.
