Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp play Tinley Park Amphitheater

Music legends Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and John Mellencamp will perform Saturday at the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater in south suburban Tinley Park.

The Outlaw Music Festival will take place Saturday at 5:15 p.m. at the former Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in Tinley Park. Southern Avenue, a Grammy-nominated roots, blues and soul band from Memphis, will open the show.

It is part of the Outlaw Music Festival, which began in Scranton, Pa. in 2016. It has sold out and become one of the largest tours in North America. Over the years, the festival has featured musicians such as Sturgill Simpson, Sheryl Crow, The Avett Brothers, ZZ Top, Van Morrison, Neil Young, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Eric Church, Bonnie Raitt and Tyler Childers.

“This year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour promises to be the biggest and best yet for this legendary group of artists. I’m thrilled to be back on the road with my family and friends, playing the music we love for the fans we love,” said Willie Nelson in a press release.
