Visitor center offering free digital marketing training

The Columbus Area Visitor Center is offering a free online educational program designed to help local businesses with digital marketing.

The center announced the initiative yesterday, saying the seminars are intended to help local tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants and other businesses learn the latest digital marketing skills. The center says the goal is to help Bartholomew County grow as a destination overall.

Columbus Area Visitor Center Executive Director Misty Weisensteiner said it is an effort to support local businesses because they “directly impact the vibrancy and attractiveness of our
destination…”

The online training will be hosted by TwoSix Digital and will include information on digital marketing trends, practical applications, and interactive tutorials.

The Visitors Centre will cover all training costs for local participants.
