Rain at the end of the week

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A chance of rain is possible through the end of the week. Once the front passes, drier air will bring an amazing weekend!

WEDNESDAY EVENING: Dense clouds will remain, with a chance of a few showers. The clouds will trap some of the day’s heat, keeping conditions mild and humid tonight. Temperatures will be in the low 70s.

THURSDAY: Temperatures will once again be noticeably cooler, with highs expected in the lower 80s. Lows will drop into the upper 60s. The chance of precipitation remains, although that chance seems to be in the southern half of the viewing area. It won’t really get above 82 degrees until the overnight hours.

FRIDAY: Sooner or later, the week will end with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Sorry football fans, grab your raincoats! Highs remain in the lower 80s, with lows in the mid 60s. A cold front is expected to move in from the northwest and help bring some drier air into the weekend.
