How did we get here

In August, the county board of trustees voted to call a bond election for November. Four propositions were on the ballot.

The initial bond proposal projects totaled $1.13 billion. The dollar amounts for the four proposals under consideration have changed slightly as the district has worked to prepare its final bond proposal, which totals just under $1 billion — $998,135,000:

  • Proposal A: General Improvements, $798.3 million
  • Proposal B: Technology Improvements, $125.3 million
  • Proposition C: Fine Arts, $8.62 million
  • Proposition D: Athletics, $65.91 million
