Harold’s Hogfest Returns to Carlton VFW September 7th

What could be better than feasting for a good cause? You have the chance to do just that this weekend at the Carlton VFW.

The menu includes pork, beans, dinner rolls and dessert. The food is so good you’ll be thinking about it until the next event next year!

The event is organized by Harold and Tara Ankrum, along with other family and community members. They are passionate about helping the children at St. Jude and hold several events a year to raise money for the cause.

All events are very popular in the local community, including the annual golf tournament in August, a pancake breakfast and a Christmas tree fundraiser to end the year.

In fact, Harold and his family have done so much for St. Jude that he has been honored with his own brick on the St. Jude Memphis campus. Over the years, his events have raised over half a million dollars and counting.

The best part? It’s only ten bucks per plate! Save the date for this Saturday and we’ll see you there!
