Columbus Clippers lose third straight game, falling to Durham Bulls 5-1

Tuesday’s Game:Durham 5, Columbus 1

Summary: Curtis Mead and Jake Mangum hit home runs as the Bulls beat the Clippers 5-1 for the second straight year. Columbus was limited to three hits by three Durham pitchers. One of the Clippers’ hits was a solo home run by Johnathan Rodriguez in the second inning. Columbus starter Triston McKenzie (3-4) allowed three runs on eight hits in five innings. He struck out three and walked but allowed two home runs. The Clippers used six pitchers.
