If Mac Jones is not a fan of Rob Ninkovich, the former New England Patriots defensive legend has made it clear he is not a fan of Jones either.

On “The Dan and Ninko Show,” Ninkovich was merciless in his criticism of the former Patriots quarterback when the possibility arose that Jones didn’t like him.

“I don’t give a damn about the (expletive). I’ll beat the (expletive) (expletive) out of Mac Jones,” Ninkovich said. “I don’t care. … (expletive) him. I hope he has a great career as a backup and makes a ton of money.”

Ninkovich even went so far as to imitate Jones’ voice during press conferences, expressing his preference for Drake Maye as the team’s quarterback.

“I’d rather listen to Drake Maye than say, ‘Yeah, my modeling career didn’t work out. So now I’m back here in Jacksonville,'” Ninkovich said. “I’m a nice guy, too. I’m a nice guy. I’m in a bike club. I needed more nuts.”

Jones was traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the offseason and ended up winning the top backup job behind Trevor Lawrence, but he didn’t look like the quarterback who was 2-9 in 2023 with 2,120 yards passing, 10 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Hopefully, a more stable situation will help the former first-round pick turn his career around. One thing is for sure: Ninkovich won’t miss him.
