Louisville Football PFF Grades After Week 1 Game Against Austin Peay

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The first week of the 2024 season couldn’t have gone much better for the Louisville football program.

The Cardinals routed FCS rival Austin Peay 62-0 to begin the first year of the Jeff Brohm era, outgaining the Governors 571 yards to 106. It was Louisville’s biggest win since beating FIU 72-0 on Sept. 21, 2013, and the Cardinals’ eighth-largest non-consecutive win in program history.

How well did Louisville’s players fare in such a dominant performance on analytics site Pro Football Focus? Below are all of the individual offensive and defensive grades from their Week 1 matchup with Austin Peay:

As a reminder, on PFF’s grading scale, 60.0 is the starting point for an “average” grade. 70.0-79.9 is considered above average, 80.0-89.9 is good, while 90.0 and above is elite. On the opposite end of the spectrum, 59.9-50.0 is below average, 49.9-40.0 is considered poor, while 39.9 and below is very poor.
